We were on our home ground when we trained 25 medical professionals in the intricacies of ECMO. The highlight of the course was the participation of Stefan Koch, Simulation expert and Head of Clinical Training of Getinge at Germany. His experience of 30yrs was visible in the high voltage clinical scenarios he threw at the delegates during simulation sessions. His technical challenges were supplemented by medical ones from the FMRI Team to create real life situations
